Les deux fashionistas...
(not exactly French bien sûr)
just out for a Sunday afternoon stroll along Canal St. Martin
You can certainly understand how a sense of
style and fashion is passed down from mother to daughter

Ah, love those mother and daughter shots! Fashionistas indeed and such a delightful capture, Genie, as always! Wishing you a wonderful weekend!

Oh la la, très stylée, cette gamine! Great shot Master (Mistress?) photographer! Genie. Veronique (French Girl in Seattle)
ReplyDeleteThe sunglasses give them away.
ReplyDeleteI just love the shades and head scarf on la petite fille! In fact, she wears that whole outfit with such panache. Nice capture, Genie!
ReplyDeleteTrès cool, la petite fille!
ReplyDeleteHello Genie, It's nice to come back after a long holiday and browse through your images.....you make ordinary everyday pix seem a work of art....Love the one of the Montmatre cafe....Have a good weekend...
ReplyDeleteWow that little girl looks so much like my Granddaughter I did a double take.
ReplyDeleteNice candid shot of follow the leader.
ReplyDeleteDaughter even more, it seems...
ReplyDeleteGod bless you!
Cezar
What a great photo. I love the little lady who surely chose her own outfit. Gorgeous with the headband and sunglasses.
ReplyDeleteWEll I"m a bit disappointed, I imagined when I saw Deux Fashionistas, that it was going to be a photograph of the two of us in Paris! HAAA
ReplyDeleteThis little miss is certainly well dressed but maman seems to need some fashion advice!

Sweet! :-)
ReplyDeleteAnd they're color coded :)
ReplyDeleteBonjour, Genie -- Paris and Beyond.
ReplyDeleteSharing a moment of peace.
It is a joy for all.
Thank you for the warmth of your heart.
The prayer for all peace.
Have a good weekend. From Japan, ruma ❃
Yes! I can definitely see. They both have oodles of style to spare. I'd like some please!? Maybe they'll share. :D
ReplyDeleteI like the daughter a lot more than the mom – more jazzy I guess. I saw some great styles too in New York a couple of weeks ago. Do you know that I have enough flyer miles to get a free trip to Paris? But I have decided to go to Provence instead….
ReplyDeleteThe little girl has a style of her own, doesn't she? Cute.
ReplyDeleteHi! I am from Wichita, Kansas and I dream of seeing Paris all the time. Mind if I live vicariously through your blog until then?
ReplyDeleteYour photos are wonderful...and very French. :)
Exactly...like mother like daughter! She is sure a model in waiting! HA
ReplyDeleteShe's styling!
ReplyDeleteGringo, so nice to see you again!
ReplyDeletePicturit, well she is certainly adorable then.
Virginia, I have some of those photos as well!
Vagabonde, so nice to see you here again. I cannot wait to hear about your upcoming trip.
Lisa, thank you for your kind comment. I dream of Paris when I am not there, too.
Well, we all agree that the daughter has much more style than the mother, but as a mom, I understand. I just love the red, black and two shades of purple, stripes and polka dots, all set off with stylish sunglasses and a head scarf - wow!
Bises,
Genie
I dunno...I think the mini fashionista surpassed mamma awhile ago!!!
ReplyDeleteI just love this image and the little girl.
ReplyDeleteFrench kids always seem so well dressed. This being an exception, most of the children I see wear children's clothes, not pared down adult fashion. But I do admit this little girl looks pretty cute. thanks for visit and comment.
