L'Entracte -- café en rouge

L'Entracte's small terrace is dressed in rouge vif looking fresh for the season.

This tiny café's English translation means "the intermission" and is located across the street from Palais Garnier, the site of the L'Opéra de Paris.

  1. I think you can find these chairs and tables only in Paris! I would love to sit there and have a chat with you!

  2. Very smart, Genie. And very OCD.

  3. Si je demandais à Genie: "Quelle est ta couleur préférée?" Peut-être serais-je surpris. Et pourtant, il semble bien que ce soit le rouge qui te fait vibrer!...
    Vrai?

  15. Red, red, red! No better color. I don't wear much red, but sure love to see it. And in October I'm having a photo exhibit here---theme is RED! :)

  18. I absolutely love that shade of red and the cafe looks like a perfect place for a coffee after the opera.

  19. Wonderful! Just to keep up the color scheme, I'll have a kir, s'il te plait. (And to answer your question, that would be the mysterious Lila.)

  20. Great photo. When I think of the French, I always think of the color red. It is a bold color and one that even that red head wore via her coat in an earlier photo.

  22. Wow, Genie. I am reaching for my sunglasses. That is just about the most intense red I can remember.

  23. Yesterday's photo in black and white but the awning was.... rouge vif! I thought that you did not need red all week long.

Vreni, I would love to meet you and other blog friends there also.

Richard, I am fickle when it comes to favorite colors so I can only say ... it depends.

Alexa, I'll join you for a kir

Bibi, tell me more about your exhibit! Congratulations, mon amie

Jann, nice to see you again!

beau gosse - There are times when you do not want to leave the action or theme of a movie and there is no intermission. If it had not been for intermissions, my sisters and I would never have made it sitting through classical concerts as kids... Thanks for the reminder.

Grace, when we meet there, we will NOT leave even a morsel, not even a crumb of pastry!

    Bises,
    Genie
