Champ Libre Fleuriste

Champ Libre
fleuriste

No matter where you are in Paris, you can certainly find nearby:

a Métro station,
an eyeglass store,
and a fleuriste

How about:
a garden,
a boulangerie,
a church?

Trois statues parmi les fleurs

Three statues among the flowers

Without regard to the season or the weather,
one can always find fresh flowers, herbs, and plants in Paris.

Are you ready for spring?

Livraison de fleurs

Flower delivery

On this quiet street in the 11ième
the colorful arrangement was headed briskly to its destination.

I was tempted to follow this young woman
in the red coat and the curly red locks.
She is a student I think
and was not dressed as a delivery person.
So many questions...

Vertige - Agathe Braconnier

2013 0522 Wed_305DSC_5915

Just a stone's throw from Église Saint-Paul-Saint-Louis in the Marais
is this sidewalk arrangement of plants and flowers.

The florist designer of this shop specializes in form and design
as simple arrangements allow the flowers to tell the story.

Les fleurs de Paris

Les fleurs de Paris

From the elegant flower boutiques to the simple corner fleuristes,
nothing says Paris in the spring like flowers.

Even a casual placement of flowers on the sidewalk has
a recognizable flair.  In trips to Paris I have given flowers
and have been gifted with bouquets.

There is nothing better...
and there are no calories in this feast!
