Sainte-Chapelle

Sainte-Chapelle

This lower chapel with its
medieval Gothic 13th century architecture
is as awe-inspiring as the elegant
chapel above

How many arches can you count
in this intersection of color and design?

That ceiling is incredible.

If I designed and built a chapel, it would have a ceiling like this.

I love the colors in this photo! Have you been to Sainte Chapelle since the restoration was completed in the upper chapel?

Beautiful inside, particularly the blue.

One of my favorite spots. I adore the chapel, of course but the downstairs has its own sense of grace and tranquility. Very nice photo.
