Chocolat Foucher - chocolatier confiseur

Foucher
Maison de Chocolat depuis 1819

Rue du Bac is a meandering shopping street just behind Bon Marché.
This may be the "home" boutique for these fine chocolats,
and it even offers a salon de thé for a quiet respite from the holiday shopping.

I could imagine finishing the gift list with selections of chocolates
and then settling in for a chocolat chaud for myself.

This photograph makes me feel like standing in front of a jewelry. I guess it must exist chocolate specialists, like there are sommeliers for wine. This windows asks me "Are you refined enough, to appreciate their "Bouchées d'exception"? Maybe not, because -by their meaning-, my most refined bite, is that of the day-by-day foods on table. Maybe to choose the best "flavor jewel", the most smart solution is the one coming from a five years old chocolate consultant... to taste one-by-one of each one different in the boutique!

Hope you enjoy the best week in your life... this one!
Blessings everyone! d(:-D)

Thanks for introducing me to a new word at breakfast this morning. Now, would you please pass me that divine looking bouchée? :-)

Not a big fan of tasting chocolate(I know hideous laughter commences) but do love the aroma. Make sense?

I adore chocolate, really fine chocolate, which can be found all over the world. Mr. Bird, I do not require a volume of chocolate, but just a taste or so. The aroma is truly divine!

Nice to see you M. Lapin Agile again. Revrunner, it does have a very elegant sound, n'est-ce pas?

Danar, I much like the idea of a "flavor jewel" and not to waste time and calories on anything less.

Jack, on my last two trips, I have stayed very close to this street and much enjoyed the neighborhood.

Merci to all,
Genie
