La Tour Eiffel en automne

La Tour Eiffel

In the winter,
in the spring,
in the summer,

Can it be that the best season is autumn?

Poor M. Eiffel.  He did not live long enough to know
just how beloved his 'temporary structure' has become.

Bonjour chère Génie,

Cette bonne Dame de fer en a vu de toutes les couleurs...
Très belle capture.

Gros bisous ♡

I like the light on the right hand tree. And the play between the blue and the yellows, (I could say it's an "impressionist" photo), and the dialog between the spirit ascending verticality of the "Grand Lady" and the noble horizontal function of joining of the foreground bridge. A beautiful world class picture!

Please, could any one tell me what kind of tree is that?

Temporary as he might have intended it to be, it would have pleased him to know how beloved it is.

We should all be so "temporary". :-)

I've seen it in all seasons and I think you may be right. Certainly, this is a lovely portrait!

Beautiful, Genie. Indeed, I wish M. Eiffel could see it now -- all the crowds, all the time. He might be thrilled, possibly dismayed! An icon on every tea towel. But what an icon!

I've only been to Paris in Winter and fall but I'm sure this view is always beautiful.
