Square Marie Trintignant
This small garden was founded in 1933 as Ave Maria Square
and has a well-appointed 790 m².
In May of 2007 Mayor Bertrand Delanoe renamed it
after the actress Marie Trintignant.
He must have seen these trees in bloom.

Gorgeous, colorful tree, lovely garden and a terrific capture for the day, Genie!! Hope you had a great weekend and that you're ready for a great week as well! Enjoy!

Beautiful photo. I did not know Marie Trintignant had a Parisian square named after her. Do you know her Genie? Talented actress. Tragic life. Veronique (French Girl in Seattle)
Spring has sprung in abundance. Fabulous blossom.
Just got smitten by that lovely banner you have here and fresh blooms from this post. Got my eye on your next posts.
I hope that Marie's dad, Jean-Louis, also will get a nice square named after him! Of course, he's still alive. I know only of Victor Hugo, who got an avenue with his name (where he then lived) already before passing away.
Very nice square and picture. Aha, she (is) was the daughter of Jean-Louis. He and Emmanuelle Riva were so excellent in the beautiful film: Amour.
Here, in Holland, there is hardly any blossom to see, trop froid!
Oh, Genie, this is magnificent! Nature does truly robe herself in beauty en printemps!
Would you believe Genie I've never been to Paris in the Spring ...... Must rectify that .... it looks SO pretty.

This poor Marie deserved it.Those trees make me think of sakuras in Japan!
Le Printemps est arrivè enfin!
J'aime ces fleurs. Bonne vie!
Oh la! Paris in spring is just fabulous! Gorgeous image Genie,
Longing to see that around here! Lovely!
She was such a sad soul. Hope her father and sons appreciate that this beautiful spot was renamed for her.
You neglected to mention the kind tree.
What a lovely tree.
Lovely!!! Beautiful color...we had snow again tonight!!!
Je ne savais pas qu'il y avait un square à son nom !
... Mais, je suis allée à St Denis !
