This Haussmann era building at the corner of Rue Paul Bert and Rue Cesselin
has four floors above the street level with wrought iron grills
and pleasing patterns of red (painted) brick and white stone.
In the warm months of the year
almost every window is adorned with plants and flowers.
I would add herbs to that list.

A Paris, les immeubles en briques sont souvent d'anciens locaux industriels, dans ce quartier, cela n'aurait rien d'étonnant.
I love European windows. I wish we had then in the US, they make so much more sense then the American kind.
I love French windows, especially Parisian windows with their wrought iron decorations and flowers.
A classic Genie. It must be wonderful to have even a small patch of earth when you live in an apartment.

There should ALWAYS be herbs. Yet another good reminder to always look up.
