Personally, as much as I love bookstores these little shops, and there are hundreds of them, scare me. The books are piled high and there is barely room to move. In fact, some of them, like the one just off rue Dagurre don't even allow you to go in, Picturesque maybe but for browsing and buying the book fair every weekend at Bransion or the major stores are at least as much fun.

My kind of shop!I like to look for treasures there..
I cannot resist walking into shops like this. You never know what treasures lie within.
And it smells heavenly in there, I'm sure. I love the musty smell of an old bookstore.
And I know that I would lose my husband in there :)
I adore a good bookshop -- I could fall in and never come out! (Of course, all those books could fall on me, too -- but it beats an earthquake!)
I love exploring book shops in Paris- both the French and English language ones.
So many great shops like this in Europe!
