It's a Wee-Rider! My granddaughter was given one by my aunt, who said that the Europeans use these pedal-less bikes to teach the kids to balance, instead of using training wheels. She learned very quickly, and loves her little "balance bike".
How cool is that? I can't imagine being that cool so young. I find it funny that I noticed there weren't training wheels, but I didn't notice the lack of pedals til I was reading your comments here!

The bell is the best part. I have to say whenever I see bikes in Paris, my heart jumps to my throat in fear!
Too cute! All of the little kids I know love these, because they can learn to ride without having training wheels.
