Jardins des Tuileries
This sumptuous park is the largest in Paris at 63 acres (25.5 hectares)
and provides a grand outdoor entertainment center for Parisians and visitors alike.
Jogging, walking, riding Vélibs, playing pétanque,
sitting in the ubiquitous green chairs by the side of Grand Bassin Octagonal...
The list is endless

I love the Tuileries; a haven of peace in a busy city.
An intriguing image Genie. They seem to be waiting for a straggler before embarking on the path into your photograph. Congrats J.
Delightful. As always. Those bicycles are intriguing; I've never seen anything like them.
Blessings and Bear hugs!

Those Velibs are so recognizable, aren't they? Have you tried them. Great shot of the garden. Wish I were there too.
LOVE this photo...they look so chic on their bikes. There is something really pleasing about parks and buildings together. I loved how in NYC the buildings rise above the trees all around.
That is EXACTLY what I would love to be doing today! It was a year ago today that Rick and I spent a lovely day enjoying the Chamnps Elysee on a Sunday (and much more). Sigh. The best of times!
I love your B&W capture for the day and what a great view of the Tuileries!! Hope you have a wonderful week, Genie!
Hugs

An inviting view. I feel like I'm about to go on a bike ride!
The best thing about this park is its location.
I love the riders in the foreground of the photo. They give it so much life.
You give a fabulous sense of its expansiveness here, Genie. Very lovely!
Interesting bicycle.
A nice composition today, Genie, and one that is enhanced by being in black and white.
For me - walking, riding a Vélib and sitting in a green chair, preferably with a view of the Eiffel Tower ;-)
I'm a bit late getting here (ma bicyclette était en panne) but I'm not too late to LOVE this photo!
YOu'll find me in a green chair with my feet propped up.
