Marché d'Aligre
This street market in the 12ème is always full of people no matter the weather.
The sounds of the market are lively with the inflections of many languages. It is a symphony to the ears and the colors are a painting to the eyes.

I do love your description of the street market!! It looks delightful and I'm sure it would be one of my favorite!! Delightful, colorful capture! Hope you have a lovely weekend, Genie! Enjoy!

this is a wonderful market.
Wonderful (and I see mimosas are already in bloom)!
This image could have been taken easily at Vienna's Naschmarkt. Don't miss it when you come here,

Hello Genie:
Oh, to have flower stalls such as this here. How we should revel in all that colour.
This looks just like Pikes Street Market in down town Seattle. It is a must see if you are ever visiting Seattle. Open 7 days a week.
Lovely photo.
Connie :)
Beautiful pictures with adorable colorful flowers to celebrate the weekend! :)

It may be cold, it may be winter, but the flowers and the colors you have captured are a breath of spring! Gorgeous!!!
The flowers are painting the eyes... Very nice visual :)

Love the colors!
And what aromas, I bet.
Lovely!!!
Tulips! What a wonderful place in every way. :)
How I love those markets!
I love visiting little corners of Paris with you!
What a wonderful choice of colors.
I'll bet you wanted to buy armloads of flowers!
Is it not the 16th arrondisment?
Awesome to see and feel spring already!
Connie, I love Pikes Market and have been there several times... Love the flower market and the fish market, too!
Lucy, this is the 12ème arrondissement, but it is the sixteenth time I have posted on the Marché d'Aligre - I do love it.
I am on my way home from a business trip and will be catching up with each of you.
Bises,
Genie
In July I will be back to "my" studio next to the Marché d´Aligre. Last year I didn´t make it to the market, but this year it´s definitely on my list again.
I love all the flowers all over Paris
