Le Moulin de la Vierge
About a year ago I posted about Le Mouline de la Vierge
and the great history of the boulangerie on Rue Vercingétorix in the 14ème.
This second of four shops also has the historic building classification
and is found on Rue Saint-Dominique.
Of the four photos I took from this vantage point,
there were seven other people seen coming/going through the doors,
all with baguettes!

I was back in the Rue Vercingétorix area (rue Moulin de la Vierge, rue Decres...) and tried an excellent restaurant. To try next time you are in Paris!

It's gorgeous, Genie! Love the gold on black. If their baguettes are as beautiful as their shopfront, it would be a sin to deny oneself...
I think I can smell the warm bread ... Beautiful building and your photo is so clear it seems you can look all the way inside the store! Miam-miam!

Shell is right, Genie—next time, go in and get yourself a nice baguette! (And next time I'm in Paris, I'm heading for that restaurant Peter mentioned.)
I probably would have problems checking out all the various store fronts and would have had to stop in each to buy whatever they had available from looking in their windows! Ha

This is such a classical Paris storefront. It looks great.
Peter and I stopped and bought both pastries and baguettes in the boulangerie of the same name on Rue Vercingétorix. The interior was stunning as well.
Peter, I will have to try that restaurant!
To all: bonne année! I am catching up with my blogging. It has been a crazy busy holiday season with many parties, friends, and lots of family... the best! I can almost see what my house looked like before it all started!
