La Tour Eiffel et la Grande Roue
From this one position, without even turning your head, you can see the Eiffel Tower, the 200-ft tall ferris wheel, the Obélisque de Louxor (75 ft high) in Place de la Concorde, and you can see the flag atop the dome of the Grand Palais.

You check a lot of boxes with this photo, Genie, but the best thing is that it is a well composed, interesting photo.
There's something about a ferris wheel... oh...and the Eiffel Tower.
Great pic Genie!
Très sympa le jardin des Tuileries sous la neige...
Belle journée,
Pierre
Yeah, so you can! Great viewpoint Genie :)

A fabulous focal point in Paris Genie. One day when we visit your wonderful city again I will search out this spot and try and take the same image. Cheers J.
Adorable Paris postcard!
Happy Friday!

Very nice picture! ;-)
Greetings from the Netherlands!
Neat photo Gene. Looks too cold for a ride on the Ferris wheel.
Well-composed shot, Genie. Ah, to be there now. So near, yet so far...
Hello Genie:
An incredible image, and all the more wonderful for being shot in such cold and very clear conditions.
Perfect spot for all the tall monuments. Now you only need to include Sacre Coeur in the background. Other angle?
Please write a X just where you were!
And snow! lovely
You were in the perfect place at the perfect time. Did you know the Ferris Wheel was first shown at the 1893 Chicago World's Fair? And was considered Chicago's competitive response to the Eiffel Tower? And here they are in the same shot. Cool.
Wonderful perspective! Paris landmarks at your beck and call!
Lots to take in and enjoy. Nice Paris perspective.
Love la Grande Roue!
@Andy - la Grande Roue is enclosed.
I want to stand in this spot, Genie. It's quite breathtaking. Bon weekend, sweet lady.
Much to be seen from here Genie and what a delightful capture with winter's cloak.

Great photo . . I have a question. Does that ferris wheel run in the winter weather?
I just always associate them with summer, but it looks like it has lights on it.
Have a lovely weekend.
Your blogging sister, Connie :)
One photo—lots o' icons!
What a great shot. Bet it's cold on top of the tower.
Love it Genie, winter in Paris looks fabulous..freezing but fabulous!!
I wish that I was there now. I am in Paris at the moment but it is the Paris Hotel in Las Vegas with a half size Eiffel Tower... ah, the irony. It is just not the same.
Glad that you liked this shot... so much of Paris in one photo and covered in snow!
Bises,
Genie
I think this is one of my favorite pictures. Beautiful
Terrific capture for the day, Genie!! All the best in on shot! Yes, freezing, but fabulous indeed!! Have a great weekend! Stay warm!
Hugs
Sylvia
Winter wonderland!
Beautiful! I would have loved to see Paris covered with snow... One of my favourite places for a break is up there on the right - sitting there on a green chair, watching the Eiffel Tower on a summer evening is just perfect.
at blue time... Stunning image !
