I like the red cupola! I´ve never heard about this church... I just checked its location, I´ve never been to this area... What a shame! Well, I guess this means that I have to travel to Paris again ;-)

This architectural style is so very reminiscent of many buildings in Pest which date from the C19.
The red cupola makes it a definite landmark, we are sure. What a fun addition to a rather austere church in the main.

Although there is much to admire about this church, I found no information about the red cupola in either English or French. It was part of the Haussmann plan of the late 20th century situated at the convergence of wide boulevards.
These blue skies and temperate October weather made for a perfect day to ride Vélibs from one end of Paris to the other. The bike lanes make the wide streets like Malsherbes a breeze!
