Bistrot Victoires
The tall tiered pedestal on the bar of Bistrot Victoires displayed a gold paper crown,
the regal spoils for the "king" who found the fève in a galette des rois.
I wonder what they did with the fève?
Yes, I am an obsessed collector

Hello Genie:
The tiered stand is just the kind of thing that we should wish to steal!! Yes, we too are inveterate collectors!!!
Beautiful colors in this shot...I too would like to have it!
Just hope that the fève was not swallowed!
The crown and glasses on the stand almost make It look like an upside down chandelier. Love the colorful bottles in the background. Once again, your eye for interesting details amazes me!
The pedestal is beautiful! Clever eyes, it's a great subject to photography!
hugs

What a beautiful pedestal!! And you do indeed have a talent for capturing beautiful thing, beautifullys Genie!! Hope your week is going well!
I thought at first the crown was part of the display... Yes, I know you collect 'fèves'. I miss les galettes des rois.
I miss les galettes too. And if I found the fève, I'd give it to you, Genie!
There is a small French pastry shop near my house in Vegas that makes the galette - very good stuff.
Maybe if you ask them very nicely, they might give it to yo.
It is a lovely image, Genie. This looks like an enchanting place. But, aren't they all?
Love the paper crown! A place fit for a King!
That is something I would love to have.
Joe, I am quite envious. Actually the Paris Hotel in Vegas did have nice pastries last weekend.
Starman, that would be greedy of me as I already have a very nice collection.
Jane and Lance, yes, I did think that the stand is something that you in particular would like.
Peter, I would hope that no one cracked a tooth on the fève.
What has happened to January? How can it have disappeared already?
February is here! Enjoy it well as the month is already a few days short!
Bises,
Genie
Oh my goodness, this is so lovely and grand. I can see why one becomes obsessed with such a regal object. :)
