Les sapins de Noël
Most of the trees in Paris are quite petite compared to what one might see in the US.
If I lived there, I would want a small tree no taller than me,
perhaps one like the little one on the right. The log stands are beyond charming.

The one on the right is adorable. And full and pretty. Perfect size. I prefer the small ones. Many of our friends here in the Pacific Northwest get enormous Noble Firs. They're beautiful, but a little overdone, i think. (Don't tell them i said that, lol.) Beautiful shot, Genie!

I really prefer smaller trees and think they are much more personal and meaningful. I also think adding small Christmas vignettes in each room brings the spirit into every room.

The French Christmas trees are a bit anemic.
This photo is mesmerizing . . .the fact that you made it black and white is a perfectly awesome technique for the subject, with that webbing on the trees. You totally captured an emotional moment, that most would have walked right past. That's genius :)
