Chapelle Notre Dame des Anges
Built in 1863 by the Marist Fathers,
this Gothic Revival architecture is largely hidden from the street view.
One gets a glimpse here of a few of the nearly forty storied windows
created by Joseph Vigne and dedicated to the Virgin Mary.

Beautiful windows! Bon dimanche!
Very nice!
What a beautiful church and I love the windows
Excellent capture. I really do get the feeling of those walls going up, and up, and up!
Bon dimanche!
What a gorgeous church! I love the stained windows. So pretty! It would be such a pleasure to sit in this church and just stare at the beauty of it. :)
More breathtaking windows! Love this. :) Hope you're having a wonderful Sunday, Genie.
Hi Genie
I m on my way back. All went as well as could be expected. Now however nothing but travelers hardship ;) ... the flight Mobile-Atlanta got cancelled with all delays you could possible imagine as result. will be stuck in atlanta for a while, admiring their beautiful new F terminal :)
bon dimanche to you too

The angle of the photo makes these windows really soar! I hope you'll play along with my Dreaming of France meme on Monday. Here’s my Dreaming of France meme
Hoping that all had a memorable Sunday today. Safe travels to you, anni.
This church is not one to catch your attention from the street as it appears just as an unbroken wall with a door and a modern sign. You never know what treasures await unless you push that door open and enter. We almost skipped this one, but I am glad that we did not.
Bises,
Genie
