Un âne à Paris

On Saturday (the day before Palm Sunday)
this donkey and his brother were seen in the streets of Île Saint Louis.

Gros bisous

Well according to on of the second graders that is in the tutoring program at our church, Jesus came riding in on a ........broom! LOL

This little guy looks very content to be tied up on the streets of Paris.

Martine, tu m'as fait rire!!

I think that the donkey was there to gain interest in the church and the Palm Sunday program of music.

My husband, Peter and I later saw a cloaked man running across Pont Saint-Louis with the brother of this donkey. I have never seen a donkey in Paris and last Saturday we saw two!

There is not much traffic on the streets of Île Saint-Louis so their brief sojourn in Paris was safe. I imagine that by Sunday they were grazing somewhere outside of the city.

Genie

My first thought is that this little fella is part of an Easter pageant.

On a Southeast road trip and missed so much without wifi. Am now in Savannah and having internet is heaven.

Hope you and DH are having a great time!!

Oh, you mean a real one, not a politician...

Petite explication: there is a donkey candidate to the coming presidential elections in France. The slogan is: votez l'ane, vote for the donkey.
