This works so well in B&W Genie and btw, good luck with the 'grumpy chops' I'm going to incorporate not only this week but always 'squenching up my nose' along with the 'nonchalant shrug' it should work well, either that or I'll look like a complete twit haha!!
There is so much to see in this sequestered garden that goes far beyond the Buren columns. Alexa, these are at the opposite end from Grand Véfour at the northeast corner and there is a narrow passageway to the street beyond. We walked through Palais Royal many times during our recent stay as our apartment was only 2 minutes walk from this spot.
It has, like so much of Paris, a different personality for each season and for each time of day, enhanced by the solitude of its emptiness or the liveliness of people enjoying all that it has to give.
