On Rue Raymond Losserand (near the intersection of Rue Pernety)
I spied this interesting artwork on what would have otherwise been a blank wall.
The colors and subject matter are interesting but I did not find any information about either the artist or the interpretation.
Do you think that it has been in place for a few years,
or would it have already been covered with graffiti?

I think it must be fairly new or someone cleans it up ona regular basis. It is lovely ...and very interesting. It always amazes me to see such creativity! Hope your last night in Paris was fabulous!

I like that kind of graffiti. I saw in Deutscland already ab. 30 year ago very interesting wall-graffities. For example, an empty wall was drawn windows.
Nice shot, but I wonder how the residents feel in the apartments adjoining waking up to that each morning....
I'd say it's not new, and it's clean because too high for graffitis.
A wonderful sight to see. There's quite a number of these around town, so I imagine it is a newish project.
Maybe the graffiti people actually appreciate 'real' art. It's kind of nice for the people who live in those apartments.
It's hard to tell Genie, sometimes here in Perth some of the artwork is left completely alone by the graffiti guys, I don't know if it's a respect thing!!It certainly would be a shame if this was spoilt.

There used to be a gigantic chimpanzee somewhere behind Beaubourg, near the Rambuteau exit of the metro.
I think I vaguely remember this greek one, must have been there for at least 6 or 8 years.
Two high for graffiti. I might need to carve an exception to my dislike of graffiti for wall paintings that cover otherwise blank and windowless ends of buildings.
Very nice artwork.
Is it a common practice to feature murals on building walls in Paris. Seems a bit unnecessary in a city with such glorious architectural styles and beauty.
