This previously unnamed (by me) carrousel was closed for repairs in April. I arrived there to capture a warm weather scene of riders, but found it covered. The workmen said "non" when I asked to photograph inside, but at least I found the name for this merry-go-round, "Les Anges Volants." Oh, I will show you the forbidden photos another time.

It's also interesting to see how a carousel can be "closed"!
Bummer you couldn't take a picture inside, but I still love this.

I cannot believe that I did not even see 1 carousel when I was in Paris.
Just because the workers said "non" does not mean I did NOT take any photos... I snapped about 5 before they could come off their ladders and chase me. (kidding)

I like this in black and white. Gives it an extra something I think you wouldn't have in color. :)
I had a friend who loved carrousels and was looking to purchase a horse from one. I loved riding them as a child and find that there aren't many like the ones I rode as a child left.
