I am thankful for an abundance of food, for friends and family, for an ability to travel to faraway places, for a job I love, for blogger friends around the world.... Happy Thanksgiving to all my USA friends and expats everywhere!
Oh, and I am thankful that I will be in Paris very soon!

I am thankful for a lot of things, too..... I sure would be thankful to the person who would make me scallops...coquilles St. Jacques....none here.
I will be in Paris mid-February!!
Fail.
C'est un Mollusquier
I agree with JB, but no matter: there are a lot of goooood things to eat in that picture!
I'm grateful for many things, Genie, and this is a lovely bounty. Happy Thanksgiving to you, my sweet!
Oh lucky girl!
I think you will find Paris with beautiful winter mood and sweet white snow! :)
Hugs

Happy Thanksgiving my sweet friend. I am thankful for the many blessings God has bestowed on me and you are one of them! I too would love some coquilles St. Jacques -- one of my favorite dishes. The scallops in this photo are gorgeous!
Happy Thanksgiving, Genie!!

In fact, it gets even more specialised - the Coquilles St Jacquier for example or even the Huitrier..
My Captcha was "wince", btw
Miam, miam! I'm so excited about your trip as well. Just wish I could tag along with you this time! Get everyone all warmed up for my arrival HA

Nice title but I'm afraid it doesn't exist in French. The person selling "mollusque" is a "poissonnier".
Happy thanksgiving and guess what ... we've just had our first snow in the Northern suburb where I work !
A very Happy Thanksgiving to you, Genie! Wish I could be in Paris with you!! Have a terrific weekend!
Sylvia
Lucky you....we will want to see all the pictures....Happy Thanksgiving
Happy Holiday!
Bibi -- I would agree and we would invite Marie as she loves them!
JB - I changed it and then changed it back after Laurent gave the word
Malyss -- I am still confused about the proper term, having never heard of anything different than "poissonnier" but I am open to learning...
Shell -- Merci, ma chere amie (no accents on my laptop)
Leia -- Oh, I hope to see some snow in Paris, a photographer's dream!
Marie -- This is the same market we visited in June. I am thankful for you as well, mon amie!
Happy Thanksgiving Genie! Paris
will be wonderful as always! It's
just there waiting for you!

Virginia -- I will you were coming too, but we'll share our December and January experiences for the next time we are both in Paris.
Laurent -- Thanks for the correction (which is what I originally had until JB "failed" me). SNOW! Fabulous... can't wait to see it!
Sylvia -- I wish you could be in Paris, too! I'll take some "sky shots" to share.
Clueless -- Merci and to you also!
Debbie -- Merci, and I will share many photos upon my return!
Starman -- Happy Thanksgiving to you also.
Jane -- And Paris will be missing you!
Happy Thanksgiving, Genie — fishy or otherwise!
Bear -- Happy Thanksgiving to you also. Bears like fish, n'est-ce pas?
