Place Maubert avec Papa

at the seafood market

The poissonnerie is full of interesting creatures from the sea.
It appears that Papa is making a selection for the evening dinner.
Although the child's eyes cannot be seen from this view,
they were open wide and full of interest.

Must be a French boy...

Marché d'Aligre - Le Poissonier

As he answered the inquiries of another customer, I snapped a few photos of this poissonier at Marché Aligre. When he turned in my direction after finishing with the customer, I was too taken by his dark eyes to get another shot, which was a shame since he had a captivating smile.

I missed the shot, but the smile is imprinted in my memory. Oh, I just love Paris!

Le Poissonnier

I am thankful for an abundance of food, for friends and family, for an ability to travel to faraway places, for a job I love, for blogger friends around the world.... Happy Thanksgiving to all my USA friends and expats everywhere!

Oh, and I am thankful that I will be in Paris very soon!
