vert et turquoise

The bright green of new spring growth
and closed aqua shutters

Do you wonder what lies beyond
the window?

Mmmh Madame... What eyes you got! Once again you proved that "Less is More". Loved the way the flaps match the wall level. The simplicity of the hinges reminds me that to live long, my life must be simple. Colors, textures, consistencies and lines are great; they have harmony and contrast also. This picture brings me a lot of peace. Lots of thanks, Genie. Best wishes for all.
(PS.: The feet of yesterday, seemed from a sculpture, to me).

Good color combination although the french prefer mostly bluish grey for their shutters and woodwork outside.

What's amazing is that's almost exactly the same kind of shutters (color & style) I saw earlier this year in a French compound in Jerusalem earlier this year!

I don't know about the window but Oh! I LOVE that paint!

I meant "beyond" the window! The window itself rocks!

I can imagine a window behind the shutter draped with antique lace......and a dead geranium, because they closed the shutter.

Good evening Genie,
Yes, I do wonder what lies beyond the window.. I would like to think a table for two, beautiful display of roses and someone sitting at a piano playing a soft tune. Then with a gentle push, the shutters open and the music fills the spring air...
