Jack, if you get up early enough, there are none of either! You can even hear the crunch of the limestone gravel under your feet as you walk when it is this quiet.
Sitting in the Jardin du Palais Royal most definitely brings a smile to my face Genie!I can't imagine it will be so quiet in June....sadly!
I did a double take. I thought is was me for a moment. J'adore the Palais Royal.V
