Mini Hyacinth
In the midst of winter
a "forced" bulb such as these hyacinths
reveal the promise of spring
The sweet smell of these flowers
is as fragrant as the finest Paris parfum

May spring be as lush and green as these hyacinths promise Genie.
ReplyDeleteHello Genie,
ReplyDeleteHyacinths have such a delicious fragrance and they scent an entire room when indoors. How could one resist one of these charming specimens in their little glass pots? Guaranteed to give a touch of Spring to any room in which they are placed. Lovely!
The glass pots really do set them off nicely.
ReplyDeleteSeeing this is inspiring me to get a bulb garden when I hit the market later today!
ReplyDeleteI like the way the shot is lit, Genie!
ReplyDeleteI happen to know that spring was a distant promise on this day—so beautifully captured by you here. (I'm craving it even more now.)
ReplyDeleteYou make me think that I should go out and buy myself one!
ReplyDeleteI love these.
ReplyDeleteMy hyacinths are gone for the year. I look forward to their heads peeping above the soil next Spring.
ReplyDeleteThere is nothing quite like walking into a room and feeling the presence of a hyacinth or a paper-white narcissus. Joe, I am hoping for a fragrant spring.
ReplyDeleteMay there be many flowers this spring as it has been a rough one for many. Our azaleas should be blooming shortly and will adorn our yards with flowers.
Bises,
Genie
