Window shopping
on Rue du Bac
On a Saturday morning,
Rue du Bac turns into a promenade of the families who live nearby.
We saw many greetings across all generations
as people paused in the street to chat.
This young child was warmly dressed
and had the requisite trottinette to make the Saturday rounds.
As for the mother, you know I will say that...
...she must be a French girl

Yes, Mom is most likely a French girl.
I really like the neighborhood around Rue du Bac. I have stayed in that area before and greatly enjoyed walking around. I am at heart a Left Bank guy.
Window shopping indeed!
A fine slice of life shot!
I thought the Mum was Nigella Lawson for a moment, Genie.
I kinda miss being wrapped up and looking in all the shop windows during Christmas. A nice cosy feeling!

Oui comme dans toutes les villes !
Nice street photography. It brought back my childhood memories of Christmas window staring.
I can just see the longing and the desire in their eyes.
This is what the French call "leche vitrine"... literally, licking the shop window.
Ah, it is that time of year!!
Superbe! I love street photography, Paris and reflections and this has it all!
Now I know what you were doing while I was hiking 6 miles through CDG! Maman is certainly chic, nest-ce pas?
Must be!
Sweet photo.
All your photos make one long to be in Paris. Except I know how cold it can be in winter. Can I get a rain check?
Bien sur!!!!
