Parc des Buttes Chaumont VI

Parc des Buttes Chaumont

Although it would appear from this photo that every bench is occupied,
the park is large enough to hold many Parisians on a weekend day.

I have never felt crowded in this park,
and on my last trip walked up to the Temple of Sybil
for a panoramic view of Paris.

  1. A beautiful park! Always wonderful to have one these within a reasonable distance! Such a great place to spend some very peaceful moments and enjoying nature's beauty. We do have a number of those here in the northwest!! I love them! Hope you're week has gone well!

  6. The sunlight filtering through the trees is terrific Genie. Send some of it this way. I think Melbourne has moved closer to the Antarctic lately.

  7. Tourists miss so much of Paris.
I spent 4 days in Montmartre,
Never wanted to leave. I could
have spent a few months there to see more of this fabulous Paris.

  8. I should like to be doing this right now -- this very minute! We wanted to spend almost every day in a park, at least a little having lunch or a picnic. And except for the first, it rained every day. So we know we have to go back! I'll remember this one!
