Quatorze Juillet - La Fête Nationale!

The Gates of Invalides

All of Paris is dressed in the bleu, blanc, et rouge of the French flag.
The crowds and the traffic are impossible,
but the pleasure of being there in the streets
for the great national celebration is worth it.

Vive la France!

  5. I've only been there for one Quatorze and it was a bit disappointing because transportation broke down and we couldn't get where we wanted to go.

  14. Thank you all for your comments today. How could I forget to thank Virginia for helping me "birth this baby" three years ago.

Harriet, I do wish that I was there right now, and I would stay for next week when Le Tour finishes with many runs up and down the Champs.

    Bises,
    Genie
