Rue de la Montagne Sainte-Geneviève - le travailleur

2012 Jan 15 2nd_0440

Le travailleur

Color-matched for the job at hand,
this worker made a nice contrast to the stark winter scene.

May you not work too hard this week
and take time to enjoy your surroundings,
wherever they may be.

Rue de la Montagne Sainte-Geneviève
(just across from the steps of Saint-Étienne du Mont)

  3. Winter seems an unlikely time to be doing repair work outside.

  4. Re-painting the fence?..The kind of thing I'd rather do in spring or summer, especially when living in Paris.

  5. The colour of his coat is amazing, think he should just stay there and become part of the scenery :-) Have a great day Diane

  7. What a delightful catch! The splash of color in the green bucket nicely complements his blue attire. The naked branches leave no doubt as to the season. Hugs, Stan.

  8. He must be brave to attempt a job like that in winter.

  9. My serounding was this saterday, les montagnes au loin.

Ouf ! Ca c'est positif.

  10. His smock is very close to the color they call French blue, n'est-ce pas? This spot is about a block from where I used to live. Le grand sigh.
