Les toits et le chat
On a gray rainy day in Paris this yellow cat can be seen grinning on the roofs from Montmartre to Vanves. This one was seen among the chimney pots of the 6ème Arrondissement.
If it is raining where you are today, may you find a hidden smile.

I do not think I have ever been on a street in Paris that has not made me smile.
ReplyDeleteWhat fun. Someone has a terrific sense of humour.

ReplyDeleteThat really is fun. Angouleme also has paintings in places on the walls but I have never seen a cheery cat there! Take care Diane

He looks like he's chuckling! What a great find, Genie. It is raining here, but haven't found any smiles....
ReplyDeleteI remember first seeing a cat exactly like this back in 1997—it was in the place Dauphine, and it made me smile like I did just now!
ReplyDeleteI love this kitty, and yes, i'd grin from ear to ear if i saw him in person. I'm grinning now. Laughing out loud actually!
ReplyDeleteExcellent capture!
ReplyDeleteSo well spotted, and such a lovely post. It did rain here, I'm not sure the smile I found was that big, but the cat certainly helps...
ReplyDeleteWhat fun. It looks like he was photo shopped into your photo.
ReplyDeleteThis seems familiar. I think I've seen it.
ReplyDeleteI love this cat!!
ReplyDeleteDefinitely one of those moments where it paid to look up Genie, what a delightful find.
ReplyDeleteJ' adore marcher le nez en l'air, mais je n'ai jamais vu ce chat.
