Printemps - les jambes

Printemps

This eclectic and brightly displayed window at Printemps is a collaboration
between Louis Vuitton and Chinese artist Yayoi Kusama.

The repetition of red dots with the assistance of mirrored surfaces is a favorite of mine.  The simplicity of the design has a great impact with this creative display.

  1. A brilliant image Genie. It is quite fascinating how such a simple design has created such a complex image. Cheers J.

  2. Red and black are wonderful contrasting colours. I'm certainly seeing lots of dots before my eyes.

  4. Very amusing. Who doesn't love polka dots. They're so whimsical.

  5. Cela attire l'oeil, avec quand même quelque chose de maladif. On pense davantage à une épidémie qu'a un ornement.

  14. I must say that they have the most interesting and unusual window displays. I wonder who comes up with the designs and how often they change the window displays. Polka dots are in this year...at least in a lot of the fabric I've been seeing. :)

  25. If you explained this concept to me, I'm sure I would've been dazed and confused. But, seeing it...well, it's quite appealing. Good eye! I doubt I would've stopped for this shot, which is one of many reasons why I enjoy visiting your blog.

  28. This is a fabulous photo! Sometimes I think Printemps does windows better than anyone, but this one is pretty masterful! Nice shooting with a minimum of reflection!
