Rue Paul Bert
Just a few steps from Bistrot Paul Bert
is this striking green doorway of great height.
It is complemented by the architectural details,
the bright red flowers in the window box,
and a reflection of the building just opposite.
It was a beautiful spot to meet a friend for déjeuner.

Lovely! I love the red fleurs in the window box. :)
ReplyDeleteQuand le genre humain aura disparu, la terre sera certainement colonisée par les géraniums rouges.

Usually, a door is just a door .... this one is both door and window! Someone must open that window regularly in order to tend to those lovely red geraniums. Lovely capture of such a Parisian sight!
ReplyDeleteUnusually high! i'd like to visit the room behind this small beautyful window!
ReplyDeletethis must be a home of "giants". amazing doorway.
ReplyDeleteThe window appears to be on the second floor.
ReplyDeleteLike Malyss, I'd love to see the home of whoever tends those beautiful red geraniums.
ReplyDeleteAnd aren't those red geraniums just the perfect touch?!
ReplyDeleteIt IS a large entrance. And grand in the beautiful way too. The red and green are very festive for the Christmas holiday, though i know the colors weren't meant for that.. :) Lovely photo.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful door appropriately accentuated with geraniums.
