Les Soldes!
Will soon begin in Paris and in all of France. The dates for the winter sales in Paris are from the 9th of January and ending on the 12th of February.
If you will be in St. Barth's or St. Martin in the French West Indes
the dates are different as are those of Réunion.
In Paris you will find les Soldes again in the summer.

Heureuse année 2013, Genie. It has been my pleasure following your blog and visiting Paris daily in 2012... as well as exchanging emails with you now and then. A l'année prochaine mon amie. Veronique (French Girl in Seattle)
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your celebrations, dear Genie ~ have a beautiful New Year. {I'm staying away from sales this year, but there are great bargains everywhere here at the moment!}
ReplyDeleteI was in Paris during the sales in July one year! Definitely fun! Happy New Year to you, Madame Genie from Rita
ReplyDeleteIt's such a foreign idea to Americans, only having sales once or twice a year. I'd love for you to join in my Dreaming of France meme today. Here’s my Dreaming of France meme
ReplyDelete50% off of très cher is still cher but at least puts it a little closer to normal price point. I think I would like to go on a "shopping" trip to Paris but I know I would rather be sightseeing or going to museums :)
ReplyDeleteHappiest New Year wishes to you and yours. May 2013 be filled with joy and blessings! Gros bisous ma chère amie!
ReplyDeleteLiebe Genie,
ReplyDeleteBonne Année 2013
greetings
Megi
Ah, les soldes. Love 'em, especially in Paris! Bisous, Genie -- and all the best in 2013.
ReplyDeleteI confess I'm anxious waiting for it! :)
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year to you and your lovely family!

Léia
My best wishes for you in the New Year 2013. Hugs!!

And let the sales begin here too! Just think of the bargains awaiting you after the first of the year! You can certainly get more bang for your buck if you can wait to spend your money after Christmas! Ha
ReplyDeleteHappy 2013!
Happy new year and enjoy your stay in French Reunion.
ReplyDeleteGreat poster! Happy New Year.
ReplyDeleteLove the soldes! I've gotten some very good bargains in years past.
ReplyDeleteI CANNOT WAIT!
ReplyDeleteI do believe when there are only two sales a year, you may really be getting a bargain. Here in Australia we have sales every five minutes and honestly, there's nothing special about them!
