  1. I'd try to be polite, but actually I'd like all of it for myself as well!! Have a great weekend, Genie!

  3. Next to this my desserts are so pedestrian. It really is quite simple to arrange if one analyzes it. I think I can do that!!

  14. I'll take the ice cream and the berries...am not too keen on that type of cake. I've never eaten at the Moulin de la Galette...how was it? I mean, the rest of the meal....

  15. Well, we are definitely going to need another order or two of this! The French really do know how to tempt the dieter. There is no point in Paris as you will walk so much that it will not matter.

Well, we tried out the Velibs and rode all over Paris today. We will be doing the same tomorrow. They are fast, you can feel the wind in your face, and cheap. We crossed the Champs Élysée, rode between PetitPalais and Grand Palais, crossed the Seine at Pont Alexandre, and rode up to Les Invalides. What fun!

We had lunch at Pain et Chocolate and had a wonderful déjeuner. There is news there and I will post on this little treasure when I return.

We took the train to the suburbs to see first Nicola (Growing Berries) and her four little berries. Then we visited in the next town along the train line our French friend Isabelle. We took a late train home.

Another great, gorgeous day in Paris! Thank you for your comments and for reading my daily update.

    Bises,
    Genie

PS Bibi, the food was very nice at M de la G, and I would go back again. We dined on the terrace.

  19. Absolutely! I love the flecks of vanilla bean you can see in the ice-cream. And I'm glad you made it to Pain et Chocolat again ~ looking forward to hearing more, dear Genie.
