Parc de Monceau
While waiting on a park bench to meet a blog friend and sa petite,
I watched this young fellow riding in circles.
He was so fast that it was a challenge to capture him in action...
and in focus!
zoom-zoom!

What a delightful capture, Genie! Reminds me of my four when they were that age and they were FAST!! Wasn't hard staying then chasing all of them!! Hope your week is off to a great start! Enjoy!

Of course he was fast, Genie. C'est un petit parisien... and as everyone knows, "Petit parisien deviendra grand!" :-) Veronique (French Girl in Seattle)
ReplyDeleteHello Genie:
ReplyDeleteYou should have asked for a 'go'. Then you too could have gone 'zoom zoom' which, we think, would have been great fun.
He seems very focused... I love the colour of his vehicle.
ReplyDeleteHe looks in a world of his own. Wouldn't it be nice to be lost in thought like this.

ReplyDeleteI think you did capture him at one of his cutest pics.
ReplyDeleteEarnest play time, beautifully captured!
ReplyDeleteThe little ones can be very speedy, can't they! His set of wheels is a lovely shade of mint. The red seat and handlebars probably make it go faster.
ReplyDeleteI bet he was having a lot of fun.
ReplyDeleteHe looks so sweet, well captured.
ReplyDeleteLove the colors of his scooter. We still have that grey dust stuck to the wheels of Florence's stroller from that day. We must do it again soon ;)
ReplyDeleteNice to see a child out playing instead of sitting in front of a television! Great shot...
ReplyDeleteLovely boy and bike.. and foto.
ReplyDeleteThose bikes are really wonderfull. This bike looks very model type. like a little scooter.
Parisian small boys has a sweet hair.
a precious portrait, genie. i am sure maman would like a copy!
ReplyDeleteSo so sweet...reminds me of my little grandson.
ReplyDeleteBravo Genie, plus rapide que le petit bolide sur ses 2 roues !
ReplyDeleteJ'aime beaucoup ces photos d'enfants

His scooter is sooo chic and I love the colour.
ReplyDeleteLove the colors in this photo. Oh the joy of childhood -- especially when one happens to be a child in Paris.
ReplyDeleteI love his "old timey" scooter. Precious.

Cute scooter.
ReplyDeleteIl est mignon! I really appreciate your series of children.
ReplyDeleteJane and Lance, oh I would not have to be invited more than once and I would have given a spin around the park myself!
ReplyDeleteYes, it was Nicola and her precious Florence that we were meeting that day!
Danielle, thank you for "le petit bolide" which is so very expressive - and I learned a new French word.
Shell, the "mint" with red reminds me of vintage items for the kitchen. I think that was a color combination that is making a comeback.
So glad that you all liked le petit bolide sur ses 2 roues!
Bises,
Genie
PS - I also found "comme un bolide dans la rue" which showed a translation of "like a bat out of hell" - yes, I wrote that one down too!
Un niño jugando es siempre una bella y tierna imagen.
ReplyDeleteBss de colores.
How fun! For the child and for you. And challenging. Children are fast and focused when they play. :D
ReplyDeleteWhat a cutie!!!
