Le Petit Châtelet
et le velo
Although I have never stopped here,
it is conveniently located just adjacent to Shakespeare & Co.
Have a browse through the famous bookstore,
meet friends afterwards on the terrace at Le Petit Château...
sounds like a full agenda to me.

Hello Genie;
ReplyDeleteNot only a full agenda but a fun one also!! Meet you there!!
Dear Genie,
ReplyDeletethank you for your comment !!!
The photo is beautiful and enchanting!!!
I felt the atmosphere of Paris.
And the bicycle as a symbol of the way ,of change and hope.
greetings
Megi
a full day...
ReplyDeleteand where will most of it be spent?
bookstore or terrace?
belle photo et bonne semaine !
That terrace looks so inviting, you ought to go there and have a bike, er, bite! ;-)
ReplyDeleteUn beau coup d'oeil !
ReplyDeleteà bientôt
Danielle
Count me in!
ReplyDeleteIn answer to your question. Didn't work. Purchased an app but it kept crashing :(
Looks inviting and a trip to the bookstore beforehand sounds perfect. I finally just finished my video production highlighting my trip to France last year. I went through thousands of photos and dozens of home movies to produce it. Well worth the time, though. It's a 23 minute video of great memories. Bonne journee!
ReplyDeleteWe can ride the bikes, browse the books for a bit and leave the Davids in the bookstore for as long as they desire while we sit and relax on the terrace! And so to dream ...
ReplyDeleteNice capture. The bike definitely makes it look like a French postcard. So very French!
ReplyDeleteThe bike in the photo reminds me of riding my cousins bicycle (which was a boys bike) that was way to big for me. I couldn't sit on the seat because then my feet wouldn't be on the pedals so I rode standing up and I couldn't turn corners without falling off. Needless to say, I had many scratched and bleeding knees. HAH :)
Une photo pleine de poésie... Un lieu qui me semble très agréable.
ReplyDeleteGros bisous à vous ma chère Génie.
Such a typically French scene.
ReplyDeleteUne vue très pastorale, dans la ville.
ReplyDeleteoh genie, my apologies for not visiting in a while. but what luck that you would post about my favorite spot in all of paris - shakespeare and company. i never noticed this quaint spot adjacent to the bookstore, but with luck on a future visit, i hope to visit it too.

I agree, this would make a great postcard.
ReplyDeleteI am going to try the Velibs on this next trip. Wish me luck!
ReplyDeletePerhaps, after the ride we will sit on a terrace to rest and have a nice beverage.
May you each and all have a great week. I am hoping that Tuesday is better than Monday - hah!
Bises,
Genie
Hi! I found your blog through Growing Berries'. We just moved to Paris and I have been to Shakespeare and Co a few times already. I love it there! Great photo!
ReplyDeleteSounds like a brilliant plan of action to moi Genie.
ReplyDeleteLooks inviting.
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness, what a place! And it's next to... a bookstore!? Ohmygosh!!
