La Fourmi Ailée
(the winged ant)
This is a quaint little salon de thé almost in the shadow of Notre Dame. I have never been inside but have photographed the young people from the school next door leaning on the building as they took a smoking break. The front of this charming salon de thé is pastel tiles which appear to be from Monet's palette.

I love the front of this salon de thé, but I´ve never been inside either.
ReplyDeleteLovely. Makes me want a cup of tea...
ReplyDeleteHow lovely Genie!
ReplyDeleteSometimes - only a cup of tea hits the spot - even in Paris!!
I took a photo of one tea salon - I'll find it and post it on my blog!!
If my memory is right it's close to Bon Marche!
Hope you're having a good week!

Make mine a Darjeeling please.
ReplyDeleteI remember your photo of the facade of this little place! This close-up is lovely too, Genie.
ReplyDeleteI will have a cuppa from the lovely blue pot! Is there a patisserie nearby for a little snack to go with the thé?
ReplyDeleteI LOVE the superimposition of the gorgeous French word over the rest!!!
ReplyDeletePretty tea pots in the window. I love the cobalt blue color. :)
ReplyDeleteI was inside this place a few years ago—very comfy and inviting as I recall, with an interesting menu.
ReplyDeleteNice type and teapots.
ReplyDeleteLovely.
ReplyDeleteRita, I was taken with the teapots and the lettering right away.
ReplyDeleteMarie, oh yes, Eric Kayser is just a block or two away!
Merci, Shell. The façade with its tile work is certainly eye-catching. Thank you for remembering.
Joe, coming right up!
Shane, oh please let me know if you can find the name. I will be back there soon.
Vreni, it is nice to know that you and I have walked these streets together and I hope that we get a chance to do so again.
Bises,
Genie
