Hello Genie: You are such an observer of life and so aware of detail and of making connections. The water IS a Monet painting, and totally splendid for that.
This picture is such a tease with those heels just hovering above the refreshing coolness of that Monet coloured water. "Do it!" I want to yell at her, "Plunge those feet in!" I love the discrete gold anklet, though I am not usually a fan of such.
Oh yes!!! Here, the temperature is rising and rising and rising. Probably over 40 degrees this weekend, will have to find a fountain. The sea is not a good option, as we have some bad jellyfishes at the moment.
It does indeed and what a delightful capture, Genie! I hope your week is off to a great start!! Enjoy!

You're quite right about the Monet painting Genie. Well spotted.
ReplyDeleteDelightful photo and commentary ... You are a true artiste ma chère amie!
ReplyDeleteIt would have made a lovely Monet painting. :)

ReplyDeleteAh the joys of summer! Monet would like that water...Good eye!
ReplyDeleteShe's being awfully careful, barely dipping a heel in the water. Maybe the green water is making her uncertain. Nicely observed.

ReplyDeleteI've been tempted to dip my feet (would love to do the rest of me) in fountains here...
ReplyDeleteLove her delicate anklet, too.
This picture is refreshing on several levels, Genie!
ReplyDeleteOh that would be nice.
ReplyDeleteMary and Peter walk my feet off in Paris. I long to do this but in janvier, il n'est pas possible!!!
