Normally, I am not a fan of the little lampshades; however, these really complete the look. I love the warm lighting ... it gives the entire photo a golden luster :)
Beautiful chandelier! I also love the amber colored glow emitting from the window. I think it adds to the feeling of a home that is warm and comfortable.
Lovely ambience—and nice curlicues too! I'm not envious of their chandelier though—if I had it I'd always be up on a ladder straightening the shades. :~}
Vreni and Jack, so glad to know the owners. We'll all be coming for un apéro shortly!
Lisa, I almost put the "I am a Peeping Tom" on the post itself - hah! I do love to see pretty homes at night with the lights on, not to see the people, just the lovely glow of the well-furnished home.
Meresi, thank you for the Independence Day wishes!
Yes, the shade straightening would bother me too, Alexa.
Have a wonderful week, a holiday week if you are in the USA.
I am watching Le Tour* daily and keeping up with some favorites, the leaders and the beautiful countryside. We can watch it live or later in the day as it runs continuously!
I love peeping on Parisian life. Don't you wish we'd been invited in!
