I love it!! Not for me at this stage of the game, but it is beautiful! What a great looking shop and, of course, a terrific capture for the day, mon amie!! Hope your week is off to a great start!
C'est incroyable! Je l'adore! I was so broken-hearted at a certain point in my life when I realized that I'd never have the lifestyle that would merit wearing a Cinderella type dress. Mais pourquoi pas? Do you think I could get it in electric blue?
Lynne, you pick out a blue gown and I will have a red one! You can come to Mardi Gras here in Mobile as we have balls and parties for a month... One is never too mature to wear a Cinderella gown.
Mr. Bird, see above to Lynne...
Martine, we will have to find a petit chapeau just your size...
The bird reference makes me wonder if this was part of a collection. I have been past this shop many times to admire the hats but had never seen a gown displayed...?
To all Americans and those who celebrate with us tomorrow... Happy Independence Day!
I will be watching the next stage of Le Tour, working in the yard, and enjoying a family gathering.
Oh this was a great shot to enlarge and check out all the details much more closely Genie, I love that about your shots and always enlarge to make sure I see everything!!
Oh my goodness. The dress is so sparkling and breathtaking. I adore yellow and i love tulle. I envy the woman who purchases it! I want to go to a soiree in it and sip champagne. Flirt with Cary Grant or Burt Lancaster...

The yellow dress really pops in the window display. Nice shot.
ReplyDelete"fluff of a dress" describes it perfectly and the bodice is gorgeous!

The dress won't fit but maybe a hat might?
