Not quite the center of the world, but definitely the center of France. On the Parvis Notre Dame, the square in front of the church, there is that sign from which all distances to and from Paris are measured. They call it the geographical center of France, which is, still geographically speaking, sheer nonsense.
Superbe! Très joli contraste entre la couleur de la pierre et ce joli rouge! Merci pour le partage, Genie. Et merci pour ta visite et petit mot sympa;o)
Perfect combination Genie. My son and his wife will be in Paris next week for the first time, I so hope they love it as much as I do. I mean, how could they not oui!
And I do love Notre Dame! The flowers are perfect! Wonderful capture for the day, Genie! Hope your weekend is going well! Enjoy, mon amie!

Ah, Cathédrale Notre Dame de Paris. C'est très bien. L'image précise pour dimanche.
ReplyDeleteEt bon dimanche à tu, aussi, Génie.

Love how the focus is on the red roses while Notre Dame is out of focus in the background :)

Beau dimanche****
Hello Genie:
ReplyDeleteIt may be slightly perverse but we rather like to see roses as they go over when the petal colour tends to intensify.
An unusual shot of Notre Dame,a subtle and interesting image Genie!
ReplyDeleteBon dimanche,
Ruby
