I imagine a cute family of birds living in that little house!wow clever capture!I'm always enchanted by doors and this one is adorable in green! bisous Léia
Quand j'étais jeune je travaillais non loin de cette petite rue. Dans certains coins du 14e c'est souvent la campagne, il suffit de pousser quelques portes cochères ! Bien vu Genie XXX Danielle
Danielle, your Micio would have been right at home in this quiet street. I saw many of his kitty-cousins that day.
Amanda, I should have thought to look that up. Thank you for that. I need to see if I can discover more about this street, sequestered and quiet.
Louise, you should head to Buttes Chaumont or to Parc Monceau. I had a nice conversation with a Japanese photographer who was at Monceau to capture the interesting birds. (who knew?)
I am always intrigued by a closed door and I love the color on this one!
Great shot! Love the green door! I, too, hope the birdies are safe! Hope your week is off to a great start, Genie! Enjoy!

Une autre porte — en verte. Avec des vignes s'élevant tout autour de lui. Potentially a restful place, but I'm not sure. What is the name on the door?
ReplyDeleteHello Genie:
ReplyDeleteAh, the intrigue of a door in a wall. Always a fascination.
We too hope that the birds are sufficiently out of reach! Life is fraught with danger!
Une porte charmante et envoûtante...
ReplyDeleteDe très jolis nichoirs...
Belle photo.
gros bisous
Oh I love that green door and I almost missed the bird housdes too.
ReplyDeleteHave a nice day
I think Veron Skinner receives some large parcels with a letter opening that wide. Nice capture Genie.
ReplyDeleteDoors are always mysteries that are asking to be solved...
ReplyDeleteI'd have missed them too, unless kitty was circling. A very pretty scene, Genie.
ReplyDeleteLove the turquoise trellis detail! Lovely photo
ReplyDeleteI'm glad that you pointed out the pretty little bird houses. I was hoping to see exotic birds in Paris, but mainly saw pigeons and sparrows!
ReplyDeletewhat a delightful contrast - a green door and a burning gate (thermopyle means burning gate in greek!)

Great photo Genie! I love looking at the doors and entryways of France. They are so beautiful and always painted in the most gorgeous colors!
ReplyDeleteNice green door. I thought most of the portes in Paris were blue:)
ReplyDeleteSold! (I wish—but wouldn't you love to see what's behind that green door?)
ReplyDeleteGood one...know this song?

Bibi, I think that it is a classic and probably played by Dick Clark back in the day...
