As you might guess this was not one of my covert shots...
He was standing outside an office door with a colleague and when he saw me photographing the details of the door he asked me to take his photo.
He did not have to ask twice, and yes, I will be taking a print to him on my next trip.

ReplyDeleteisn't it amazing how some people take offense when you turn your camera on them and others invite it. he is a most beautiful subject and you captured him perfectly.

ReplyDeleteWhat a great face!! Perfect exposure and tack sharp on the eyes. Kudos! It would be absolutely perfect if you 'photoshopped' out some of the background details ---
ReplyDeleteHe has such a lovely, kind face doesn't he?
ReplyDeleteHandsome face; looks like a nice guy.
ReplyDeleteWell done, Genie. It is so much easier when a subject asks us to take a picture.
ReplyDeleteI'm sure he'll appreciate it. A really nice portrait! :)
ReplyDeleteVery nice portrait.
ReplyDeleteSo glad that you all liked my "Paris friend" and he was surprised when I quickly snapped him after his request! I have already put this in my print folder for the next trip.
ReplyDeleteStan, I just need to be careful about the background mess as I do not Photoshop except some very basic crop, lighten/darken, and b/w. I need lessons in that for sure!
Bises,
Genie
