Palais Garnier - luminaires

The gift shop of Palais Garnier has a new version of the graceful figures and handmade lamps I saw a year ago.  You will be amazed when I tell you how much they cost.

(We did not buy one)

  2. What a graceful beauty she is Genie. Simply breathtaking!
Would this be one of those... If you have to ask the price you cannot afford it?
Thank you so much for sharing this exquisite lamp.

Tell you a secret.... we have beautiful lamps sitting in AL (not like these of course, but still beautiful) and over the years I have been unable to figure out how to get them over here....we decide every year again to give it a try to pack but never do ...

  11. That's such a gorgeous shot! I took a photo of those lamps when I saw them two years ago as well. They're so stunning. Worth the price I'm sure.

  12. Louise, the ones I took photos of a few years ago were ballerinas but very similar, obviously the same artist.

To all, these are truly divine and beautifully (hand)made. The prices range from 460€ to 1.725€. This one would have cost 805€ - yikes! I will post a little gathering of these ladies on another day.

    Bises,
    Genie
