  1. Well, I wouldn't worry about who was, or was not, toeing the line. That's France, and I think the French are, shall we say, a bit casual about such things.

Hope you had a wonderful Easter à Paris.

  5. Not to toe the line is important when it comes to e.g. sports, but it may sometimes be good not always to follow the “rules”, a way to progress?

  6. Ha! That's cute! Husband used to tell me when he was on business in Europe they were always in a queue for something or another.

  7. But of course not -- this is France! (Love the b&w patterns.)

  8. I've been waiting until I had time to really savor your images from this trip Genie and I'm glad I did. I was just wondering if there will be anything around in 850 years here in Perth that will be as beautifully preserved as the stained glass window in Notre Dame, or the many other beautiful cathedrals in Europe. Haha! thank goodness for people who don't always 'toe the line'. Sounds like it was just the first of many wonderful trips to Paris with your husband. I know it's a bit late Genie but I hope you had a wonderful Easter.
