Oh Genie, so glad you've arrived safely. I hope Paris has given you both a wonderful welcome! I know how much you will enjoy sharing this trip together, you will make some wonderful memories that you can share for years to come. I hope he gets the bug too and then there'll be no stopping you!!!
oh yes, please embrace it, breathe it, love it all and give Paris a big hug for me and tell her I'll be there to see her in June!!!
I certainly hope you were thoroughly kissed beneath Tour Eiffel (maybe when it was blinking)! So glad D is there to share this experience with you and to give you a wonderfully different perspective on Paris! Bisous ...
So glad you are in Paris with your husband! I love up close pictures of the Eiffel Tower that are a tad off the usual so this has to be my favorite picture of yours! It's glorious! Please eat a macarone (or two) for me! And will you visit the Hermes mothership? XO, Jill
Absolutely gorgeous photo. Let us know your husband's reactions as you are making your daily posts. I hope he doesn't mind that we are also enjoying this trip along with the two of you.
The weather in Paris is spectacular and I am soaking it up. We spent much of our day walking in the 1st arr., buying an assortment of items for a picnic, and sitting in the green chairs of Tuileries. You would think it is a holiday with the number of people enjoying the parks.
Peter (Peter's Paris) joined us at the apt late this afternoon for un apero, and then the three of us walked to a zinc bar for dinner at nearby Place du Marché Saint-Honoré. The evening breeze was perfect without even a jacket.
Tomorrow, another adventure, but tonight we are putting our tired selves to bed.
I am jumping with excitement here, chere Genie! Paris, notre amour!!
ReplyDeleteENJOY! I hope your hubby sees what we do ;)
Bisous,
- Irina
