When pigs fly...

When pigs fly, as these surely plan to do, are they circumnavigating the globe?

I was not sure of the interpretation but found this window amusing.

  3. I don't think they're flying. I think their job is to hold down the books (which might float away otherwise).

    Oui?

  4. Sweet por bigs. They seem to have the whole world's weight on his shoulders (the snout). I think that they can not fly because of it.

  18. I'm thinking Bibi is right. :~} That looks like the Bibliotheque National reflected in the window—were you with Virginia and Peter?

  19. Alexa, Holly and I were in an apartment just a block away and were walking to Metro Bourse when we saw this window. You are absolutely right about the Bibliotheque National across the street.

I do love discovering scenes such as this and wondering the intention of the window designer.

I do wonder if the expression "when pigs fly" translates to French.

    Have a wonderful weekend!

    Bises,
    Genie
