    Beautiful shot Genie, would love to see behind some of hose shutters. Loved the high ceilings and old features of Paris apartments, so much character.

    Beautiful soft light and colours. One would hardly think "winter" to look at them, they're so warm. The angles and lines make a great composition.

    Martine and Joe, I did not immediately think of Mary Poppins but it now seems quite natural!

    To all who admired the soft colors of winter light, the textures and that divine chimney... I agree. What a beautiful scene and I would want to know more about that unique chimney. I would think that this would be a lovely place to live.

    During the French Revolution,the little vilage of Passy sheltered many aristocrats trying to hide from those agents of the Comittee of Public Safety.

    A good number of them managed to come out alive while others...

    Frederic Passy, 1st Peace Nobel prize winner and his son, father of the International Phonetic Association and founder of the community "LIEFRA" (liberté-égalité-fraternité) ?
